MY SUBARU DREAM: 2017 SUBARU BRZ Review

One thing that most people dont know about me is my love for Cars.. Good cars...

 I have always had a thing for Subarus.. I guess that is why I got married to a Subie Driver (hehehe Kidding) which explains why our wedding convoy had all Subz apart from the Bride's Car (Merc Avant E grande - Obsidian Black(I should make a review fo this)) 

 Any way I have officially found my Subie Soul mate.. The 2017 Subaru BRZ... 
So today am reviewing Him.. yea.. if i buy it.. it's definately a He... hihihi!!  

 First of all It is said to be a mix of high power, various features along with a moderate pricing range (Totally worth it i may say) . These characteristics are what makes this model a highly anticipated vehicle in the Subaru lineup. This auto promises to offer new exterior along with engine with upgraded production abilities.

 Improved body of upcoming BRZ is made with better balance of front part as well rear one. The centre of gravity is lowered now. It means that you can expect sharper handling. You can choose between such trims as Premium, Limited, STI convertible and HyperBlue edition. On the whole, 2017 Subaru BRZ is a four door coupe. It has LED type of lightning which looks exceptionally beautiful on its stylish front. Its tires are of 17 x 7.5 Inch 15-spoke aluminium-allow wheels The perfect blend of attitude and style... Am not sure on Kenyan roads but well if we can cruise with an Aston Martin - Anything is possible . oh and yeah we have Thika super highway and the almost complete Outering road...

The bi-xenon headlights are automatic and they are on board as well. Limited version provides you with strong fog lamps think of a cold morning on your way to Nakuru near Mai Mahiu.. and good looking rear spoiler while HyperBlue trim is equipped with wheels of black colour. You can optionally offer fuel door cover which is chrome-plated  and diffuser to the rear bumper whiich helps to direct airflow and adds a sculpted finishing touch to the BRZ lower body line. 


 Base trim of this auto offers you cruise control options along with air conditioning and rearview camera. Its rear seatback can fold down making the car more spacious so i will not have to worry about roadtrip manenos with my Little Nadiva.  The Front seat side and side curtain bags are a standard on all BRZ's, they surround occupants in the event of a crash to help prevent injury. it also features whiplash protection performance design front seats with adjustable head restraints. It also has a ring- shaped reinforcement frame which is exeptionally strong for maximum resistance to impact energy, while its unique configuration helps divert that energy away from the occupants. the BRZ frame is composed of generous amounts of high-tensile steel for even greater strength and lighter weight.


The infotainment system includes touchscreen of 6.2 inches which can be controlled by the means of voice and has different types of phone connectivity. Steering wheel of telescopic type is covered with leather. You can also use such features as keyless entry and ignition. HAs a 10 Inch powered subwoofer providing powerful, deep base and assists in clean soud reproduction from all vehicle speakers due to the intergrated 100W amp and a passive crossover network (My Demakufu Mixes.. IKR!!) as well as calendar and weather features for the more elite and serious fellows... Limited trim gets you mirrors and front seats which are heated along with leather upholstery.
                                       
Upgraded engine of 2017 BRZ is of turbocharged type with 2.0 litres of displacement and four cylinders. Its productivity is 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. It is equipped with six speed automatic transmission. This auto makes it from 0 to 60 in 7.9 seconds - You can drink to that - . Fuel efficiency features will be disclosed closer to the release date. The model is also made with safety features which include braking assistance - Serious drivers know the importance of having powerful breaks. 2017 BRZ is fitted with Brembo breaks giving it an enormous stopping power.
It has more stability, better ride quality and more responsive handling thanks to Sachs performance dampers

                         

It is expected that base model will cost around KES 2.8M  and the HyperBlue edition for KES 3.5M but subject to change in relation to our Kenyan Market and the Importation charges that will be incurred.
